Product Description:
The CT-SC series from Janitza features low-power (333mV) split-core current transformers designed specifically for use with the UMG 96-PQ-L-LP power analyser and the 800-CT8-LP extension module (compatible with the UMG 801 power analyser). These transformers support primary currents ranging from 20 to 600 A and include a 5-meter cable. All models in the series offer an accuracy class of 0.5.
Conductor Compatibility
To ensure proper operation, the current transformer must fit securely around the conductor. The CT-SC series offers several variants with the following maximum conductor diameters:
- CT-SC-006-500-20: 6.1 mm
- CT-SC-010-500-50/75: 9.5 mm
- CT-SC-012-500-75: 12 mm
- CT-SC-016-500-100: 16 mm
- CT-SC-024-500-100/200/250: 23.3 mm
- CT-SC-036-500-400/600: 35.3 mm
Split-Core Design
As split-core models, the CT-SC transformers can be installed directly around live conductors without interrupting the power supply. This feature simplifies installation, minimizes downtime, and makes the series ideal for retrofit applications.
